About Costa Group
Costa Group Holdings Ltd (ASX: CGC) is the largest fresh produce company in Australia. Beginning as a small family fruit shop in country Victoria in the 1920s, the business has expanded to become a comprehensive growing, wholesale, distribution, and export operation.
Its products are predominantly sourced from around 5,000 planted hectares of farmland, tomato glasshouse facilities, and mushroom-growing operations around Australia. Costa Group also operates berry farms in Morocco and China as part of its international business.
The vast majority of the company's revenue derives from its Produce segment. Costa Group is now the leading grower and supplier of avocadoes, berries, and citrus fruits in Australia.
