    Catapult Sports Ltd (ASX: CAT), formerly Catapult Group International Ltd, is a global sports data and analytics company that provides sporting teams and athletes with detailed, real-time data and analytics to optimise athlete performance, avoid injury, and improve return to play.

    Catapult's products and solutions are used by more than 4,000 sports teams and athletes, across more than 40 sports and 100 countries worldwide. Catapult has expanded its original wearable technology to incorporate video analysis solutions, with a majority of revenues generated via SaaS (software as a service) subscriptions.

    Originally born from a partnership between the Australian Institute of Sport and the Australian government's Cooperative Research Centres in the lead-up to the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Catapult was founded in 2006, and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in 2014.
