    About BlueScope Steel Ltd

    BlueScope Steel Ltd (ASX: BSL) is an Australian-based steel manufacturer supplying global markets. Spun out of BHP Billiton in 2002, BlueScope produces a range of steel products, systems, and technologies and is one of the world's leading producers of painted and coated steel products.

    The company has a diverse portfolio of global businesses with more than 160 operations in 16 countries including the US, China, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. It also has joint venture businesses in India and with Nippon Steel in Japan that have opened new markets in those regions.

    Bluescope products serve a range of industries including building and construction, automotive, industrial, manufacturing, and more. The company's registered trademark brands include Colorbond, Zincalume, and Colorsteel.

    Ms Lambert has more than 25 years of financial management and accounting experience, along with over 15 years in the property industry and 15 years of experience as a director of for purpose entities. She is a non-executive director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for each of NEXTDC Limited and REA Group Limited. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of its Reporting Committee. Ms Lambert is also on the Council of the Sydney Church of England Grammar School and is Chairman of the Mosman Church of England Preparatory School. Ms Lambert has business and leadership experience at the senior executive and board level. Ms Lambert was Group Chief Financial Officer of 151 Property (previously known as Valad Property Group) from 2003 to 2016, where her responsibilities included operational and strategic finance, tax, treasury, legal and compliance.
