    Mining and metals giant BHP Group Ltd (ASX: BHP) is a diversified natural resources company that is among the world’s top producers of major commodities including iron ore, copper, and metallurgical coal.

    On 1 June 2022, BHP sold its substantial oil and gas assets to Woodside Energy Group Ltd (ASX: WDS). 

    Formerly BHP Billiton Limited, BHP is a multinational company. Until 2022, it was dual-listed on both the ASX and the London Stock Exchange before unifying its operations and trading solely on the ASX.
