Altium Limited (ALU) is an Australian multinational software business that focuses on electronic design systems for 3D printed circuit boards (PCBs).

Since PCBs sit inside every electronic device, Altium has benefitted from the Internet of Things boom which has seen a rapid rise in the number of interconnected devices. The company’s flagship product, Altium Designer, is an end-to-end PCB design tool, while its cloud platform, Altium 365, is set to drive the ASX 200 share towards its ambitious growth targets.

Altium shares first listed on the ASX in 1999 and the Altium share price has experienced exponential growth since then. Today, Altium is a member of the sought-after ‘WAAAX’ group of tech shares on the ASX.
