About Abacus Group
Abacus Property Group (ASX: ABP) is a diversified property group with interests in storage, office, and retail. Its assets are concentrated in metropolitan centres in Australia's eastern and southern states and in Auckland, New Zealand.
Under its current strategy, Abacus is aiming for a simpler and more conservative business, primarily as an owner of self-storage and office assets. It remains an active acquirer and developer of self-storage properties which make up more than half of its portfolio. The group has divested its previous interests in residential property.
Abacus is a stapled security comprising a share in each of Abacus Group Holdings and Abacus Group Projects and a unit in each of Abacus Trust and Abacus Income Trust, which can only be traded together.
