    About Perpetual Ltd

Perpetual Ltd (ASX: PPT) is a global asset manager and one of Australia's oldest financial services companies, founded in 1886. It has three operating segments, with its investments business the company's main earnings generator.

Perpetual is an active manager of listed assets. It also provides financial planning services to high net-worth clients via its private segment. Its trust segment provides outsourced responsible entity services to funds, as well as custodial and trustee services in debt capital markets.

In January 2023, Perpetual acquired Australian funds manager Pendal Group, along with its boutique brands J O Hambro, Regnan, and TSW. The acquisition saw Perpetual's funds under management total around $200 billion at that time. Perpetual describes the acquisition as one of the most defining moments in its history, creating "a global leader in multi-boutique asset management with world-class investment capabilities".
