G8 Education usually pays twice-yearly, fully franked dividends in April and October each year. Due to the significant impacts of COVID-19 on its business, however, G8 postponed payment of its CY19 final dividend of 6 cents per share, which was due to be paid on 6 April, until 30 October 2020.

In an announcement on 9 April 2020, G8 Education further advised that, aside from the already deferred CY19 dividend, the company would be temporarily suspending its dividend payments. G8 Education does not expect to pay any dividends for CY20 and any prospective dividends for CY21 will be subject to the company’s financial performance.
