About Class Ltd

Established in 2005, Class Ltd (ASX: CL1) develops and delivers cloud-based software solutions for the wealth accounting market in Australia. The company’s products include a range of investment portfolio accounting software as well as award-wining platforms focused on the administration and reporting of self-managed super funds (SMSFs).

Predominantly targeting accountants and investment professionals, Class produces software solutions designed to streamline the administration and management of SMSFs and other investment products.

Class also develops software to assist with the administration of investment portfolios held by companies, trusts and individuals.

According to the company, around 28% of all SMSFs in Australia are now administered using Class software. Furthermore, over 1,500 accounting and administration firms use the company’s software to administer over 180,000 accounts.

During the March 2020 market crash, the Class share price fell from more than $2 to a low of 88 cents. By mid-August however, Class shares had gone on to recover those losses.
