About Syrah Resources Ltd
Syrah Resources Ltd (ASX: SYR) is an Australia-based company engaged in mining, mineral exploration, evaluation, and development.
The company operates the Balama graphite mine in Mozambique, where it produces natural graphite – a key component in lithium-ion batteries – and sells to customers in Asia, Europe, the Americas, and other locations.
The mine will also provide natural graphite for Syrah’s Vidalia processing plant in Louisiana in the United States. Vidalia will produce graphite-based active anode material for the lithium-ion battery supply chain. Production is expected to begin in Q3 FY23.
