ALL ORDINARIES finishes higher Friday: 8 shares you missed

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished higher on Friday.

Here’s a short recap of the Australian market:

  • S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) higher 0.46% to 6,167.30
  • ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) higher 0.44% to 6,241.90
  • AUD/USD at US 71 cents
  • Gold at US$1,324.96 an ounce
  • Brent Oil at US$66.92 a barrel

The best-performing ASX 200 share today was InvoCare Limited (ASX: IVC), its share price rose 11.8% with the funeral operator saying conditions may be returning to normal in its 2018 full-year result.

The Webjet Limited (ASX: WEB) share price has soared another 8.4% today after yesterday’s huge rise.

Car dealership business Automotive Holdings Group Ltd (ASX: AHG) went up 8.8% after reporting its half-year figures.

Natural beauty business BWX Ltd (ASX: BWX) saw its share price grow 30.4% today due to what the company revealed in its profit announcements.

The Village Roadshow Ltd (ASX: VRL) share price rose by 1.9% after reporting its December 2018 result.

Shares of iSentia Group Ltd (ASX: ISD) plunged another 15.4% with the media monitoring company sharing its December 2018 half-year result.

Online retailer Kogan.Com Ltd (ASX: KGN) reported its result, which left its share price lower by 0.2% today.

Finally, Mayne Pharma Group Ltd (ASX: MYX) shares declined by 5% after the drug business reported its result to shareholders.
