ALL ORDINARIES finishes higher Monday: 8 shares you missed

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished higher on Monday.

Here's a short recap of the Australian market:

  • S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) higher 1.11% to 5,728.20
  • ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) higher 0.94% to 5,813.80
  • AUD/USD at US 71 cents
  • Gold at US$1,234.50 an ounce
  • Brent Oil at US$77.23 a barrel

The best-performing ASX 200 share today was Syrah Resources Ltd (ASX: SYR), it rose by 8.6%.

Lynas Corporation Ltd (ASX: LYC) shares went up 5.4% after providing a regulatory update about its Malaysia operations.

The share price of Kogan.Com Ltd (ASX: KGN) fell nearly 33% today after giving the market a business update which included a number of issues for the online retailer.

Shares of BWX Limited (ASX: BWX) also fell a heavy 16% after telling investors that there may be little to no growth in FY19.

The Bapcor Ltd (ASX: BAP) share price was driven higher by 3.8% after saying at its AGM that all of its segments are performing to expectations.

Healthcare business Paragon Care Ltd (ASX: PGC) announced yet another acquisition to the market, sending the share price up by 3.7%.

Shares of Volpara Health Technologies Ltd (ASX: VHT) dropped 3.9% today after giving investors its quarterly update.

Finally, healthcare business Mayne Pharma Group Ltd (ASX: MYX) went up 5.7% today, making it one of the largest gainers within the ASX 200.
