ALL ORDINARIES finishes lower Thursday: 8 shares you missed

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished lower on Thursday.

Here’s a short recap of the Australian market:

  • S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) down 0.23% to 5,815.50
  • ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) down 0.24% to 5,911.40
  • AUD/USD at US 78 cents
  • Gold at US$1,353.80 an ounce
  • Brent Oil at US$72.26 a barrel

The Brambles Limited (ASX: BXB) share price fell by 1.74% after it withdrew from a oil and gas joint venture.

Nearmap Ltd (ASX: NEA) finished the day up just over 1% after it revealed the growth in the US is continuing.

Private hospital operator Healthscope Ltd (ASX: HSO) went up by 3.43% today after there were more rumours it could be a takeover target.

Buy now, pay later company Afterpay Touch Group Ltd (ASX: APT) dropped 4.46% after it received a broker downgrade.

Online retailer Kogan.Com Ltd (ASX: KGN) rocketed upwards 7.38% today after announcing it has launched its new NBN service.

Spark Infrastructure Group (ASX: SKI) dropped 0.44% today after announcing it would undertake a $129 million capital raising.

Infant formula stock Bubs Australia Ltd (ASX: BUB) finished the day up 9.21% thanks to a large increase of sales.

Finally, Retail Food Group Limited (ASX: RFG) continued its volatility streak and dropped 8.33%.
