The Reserve Bank of Australia has left rates on hold at 2.5%.
At today’s meeting the RBA’s board decided to leave the cash rate unchanged, which was as expected by the market. The central bank has again noted that the Australian dollar is uncomfortably high, but appears loathe to lower rates to bring the currency back down.
