The Vocus Group Ltd (ASX: VOC) share price could receive some more attention today after the company opened its books to private equity firm KKR yesterday. More bids are not out of the question from other private equity firms, as well.

The Flight Centre Travel Group Ltd (ASX: FLT) share price could be a hot topic again today, as well. The travel agency business provided an upbeat profit guidance yesterday that saw its shares zoom higher to just over $44 per share, up from less than $40.

Coca-Cola Amatil Ltd (ASX: CCL) was also in the headlines this morning, with The Australian Financial Review reporting that Woolworths Limited (ASX: WOW), one of the primary sellers of Coca-Cola products in Australia, is refusing to stock Coca-Cola No Sugar. The product was launched last month as a way to attract more health-conscious consumers back to its products.

The BHP Billiton Limited (ASX: BHP) share price could also be in focus. The AFR reported the views of London-based analyst Paul Gait, who believes the miner could look to spin off its petroleum assets.

Other energy businesses such as Woodside Petroleum Limited (ASX: WPL) could also receive some attention after oil prices slipped almost 4% overnight.
