Ouch! Investors who sold their stocks earlier in the week in a state of panic will be kicking themselves today.
Since briefly dipping as low as 5,142 points on Tuesday as falling oil prices continued to weigh on the market's confidence, the S&P/ASX 200 (Index: AXJO) (ASX: XJO) has surged almost 4% to be back at 5,342. It's skyrocketed 2.5% today alone, bringing a tidal wave of gains to those investors who chose to remain patient.
My personal portfolio has surged around 6% this week, while those exposed to companies like Amcom Telecommunications Limited (ASX: AMM) or Woodside Petroleum Limited (ASX: WPL) could be sporting even greater gains.
Investors who sold out of fear of greater losses may want to look away now.
