The S&P/ASX 200 Index (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) has added to yesterday's gains, posting a rise of 0.21% today. The gains followed another strong session on Wall Street overnight which saw the Dow Jones up 0.55%, while the S&P 500 rose 0.72%.
Investors now appear more confident, both here and abroad, that the Ukrainian situation will be contained.
Sectors were mixed, with consumer staples, followed by consumer discretionary leading the gains. Materials, property and telecommunication services all fell.

- Wotif.com Holdings Limited (ASX: WTF) soared 23% to $3.00
- Cardno Limited (ASX: CDD) jumped 5.2% to $6.66
- Nufarm Limited (ASX: NUF) added 5% to $4.20
- Horizon Oil Ltd (ASX: HZN) rose 4.8% to 32.5 cents
- GWA Group Ltd (ASX: GWA) gained 4.5% to $3.00
